Childish Gambino To Star In Black Panther 2?!
Ryan Coogler, director and co-writer of 'Black Panther', is apparently talking to both Childish Gabino A.K.A. Donald Glover and Michael B. Jordan about 'Black Panther 2'. Childish contributed one of Shuri's best jokes to the first 'Black Panther' when during the T'Challa challenger combat she raises her hand to complain that "this corset is really uncomfortable, so can we all wrap this up and go home?"
According to some sources, Ryan is trying to get Childish to play the villain in the sequel. The source said; "Ryan Coogler is currently mapping out Black Panther’s sequel and has written in a number of new characters that movie-goers will be introduced to when it premieres. One of those characters, if he gets his wish, will be played by Childish Gambino. Nothing is set in stone but 'informal talks' [are happening] between Ryan, Gambino and reps from Marvel and Disney to see if they can make it happen."
Gambino played a small role in 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' as Aaron Davis, a career criminal. Davis is the uncle to Miles Morales, who Childish voices in the TV show 'Ultimate Spider-Man'.

Ryan is reportedly also trying to get Michael B. Jordan to return for the second instalment, however considering the end of the first movie, we're not sure exactly how this will play out. Considering it's a Marvel movie however, nothing is impossible; "they’re still yet to decide if Michael B. Jordan will return in some capacity but if he doesn’t it’s likely Gambino may play some kind of villain."
Stay tuned.
