History of Timberland

In 1973 the original waterproof boots called the “Timberland” were invented. They were rugged, well-crafted, withstood the elements and mainly designed for people who worked in factories or construction. However, it wasn't until the ’90s, when New York rappers adopted Timberland into their style and in their music with the NOTORIOUS B.I.G and Nas in particular making these classic kicks household names everywhere. 

A lot has changed since then but Timberland boots have only continued to grow in popularity over time 📈 Already being a staple amongst fashion communities everywhere, this brand has grown even stronger through massive collaborations with big name streetwear brands. Partnering up with the likes of brands such as Supreme, Stussy and Tommy Hilfiger it's easy to see why this is the case!

Culture Kings x Timberland

Over the years Culture Kings has delivered world exclusive collaborations with the Timberland brand that have been a roaring success! Not too long ago at the back end of 2020 we collaborated with Timberland to drop this very limited 6" Premium Boot in Red/Gold. Then winding back to 2018 we teamed up once again to celebrate Culture Kings' 10 year anniversary and Timberland's 45th year anniversary! Reinventing the classic wheat colourway where it all began with a limited edition Culture Kings x Timberland masterpiece. 

However, the collaboration between two modern-day giants all began back in 2016 where we gave Culture Kings' take on the 6" Premium Boot in an all new Black/Gold colourway. Selling out almost instantly and being a fan favourite amongst our customers ever since this initial release, we've decided to bring this world exclusive edition back to Culture Kings one more time!

This Culture Kings x Timberland 6" Premium Boot has a bevy of features that sets it apart from the rest. Rendered in a prestigious colourway with gold accents, a gold side zip and matching gold eyelets all accentuated on a murdered out black nubuck leather construction and hard rubber sole, this boot means business. Along with the style the colourway provides, this premium full-grain and nubuck leather has been designed for comfort, durability, abrasion resistance and to keep feet dry no matter the weather.
