Kanye Made Kim A Part-Owner Of Yeezy
Kim Kardashian-West has revealed during a recent interview on the Ashley Graham 'Pretty Big Deal' podcast that Kanye West gave her a stake in his Yeezy brand after she turned down a $1M offer from a competitor.
“A brand offered me a million dollars to do a post on, you know, some of their clothing. And they typically, I don’t want to say who the brand is, but they typically knock off Yeezy.”
“[Kanye] was like, ‘No, babe, I really don’t want you to do that. It’s understandable, but that’s a lot of money!”
Then, on Mother's Day, Kanye showed his thanks with an extra special gift.
“I open the envelope and it’s a million-dollar check and it was a note saying, ‘Thank you for always supporting me and not posting,’” Kim said. “And then, in the rest of the envelope, it was a contract to be an owner of Yeezy and my percentage.”
Yeezy is reportedly valued at $1.5 Billion.
