'Aquaman' Has Made $1 Billion 💦

Marvel fans, maybe your reign is coming to an end. 'Aquaman' is set to become the highest grossing DC movie ever - it has officially made $1.02 billion, surpassing the $1.004 billion 'The Dark Knight' made back in 2008. 

The movie has received generally positive reviews, with some claiming it is the best DC movie ever with Jason Momoa at the helm (though 'The Dark Knight' fans will disagree). After the poor reception 'Suicide Squad' got, this is what DC needs to concrete themselves as a serious competitor to Marvel. 

According to Forbes, 'Aquaman' is the 37th film ever to break the $1 billion mark, and also the first non-Disney movie to hit $1B since 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' in 2014.
