Honouring The Life of DMX

Dark Man X, or more widely known as DMX, was among the most prolific rappers of his era and stands as a cornerstone of New York Hip-Hop. His personal turmoil inspired music that was raw, real and timeless. The raspy-voiced artist who produced the songs Ruff Ryders’ Anthem and Party Up (Up in Here) presented one of the most high profile expressions of vulnerability in hip-hop leaving an imprint on music that will last forever. DMX who sold millions of records and was nominated for three Grammy awards, was the first musician whose first five albums debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Chart, continuing on to be one of the most impressive runs in hip-hop history. He will forever be remembered as a hip-hop icon.
