Fresh off his in-store appearance at Culture Kings, Skepta, British grime artist and rapper, recently hit up the iconic Sydney Opera House for one hell of a concert. With all his killer tracks, a wild crowd and a surprise appearance from A$AP Rocky, the night was one to remember.Ā
DJ Maximum got it going by playing an opening track right before Skepta came out on stage, decked out in the 'Down Under' shirt from our exclusive Skepta Merch range.Ā
His tunes 'Pure Water' went off andĀ the rapper had to start his tune 'It Ain't Safe' twice with CO2 bursts providing the visuals.Ā
Skepta shouted out the front row during his performance of 'Energy' and also shouted out the
pop-up store at CK earlier in the day. After shouting out to the hyped crowd "let's get grimy!",Ā Shorty BBK came out on stage as well and performed a few solo tracks including 'What's Goin On?'
Skepta went all out and spat some bars before hitting the crowd with his songs 'No Security', 'Shutdown' and more. Then, special surprise guest A$AP Rocky hit up the stage to performĀ the duo's smash single 'Praise Da Lord (Da Shine)' twice for the crazy crowd. The rappers then announcedĀ that the track went platinum in Australia even before it did in the UK and America.Ā
All in all the performance was a dope time and we are super keen for Skepta's next Aus tour š
